Mighty Pilates Diversity Scholarship

Mighty Pilates created a Diversity Scholarship to promote opportunities for the Black, Indigenous,
and People of Color [BIPOC] Community to practice & teach Pilates. We believe that Pilates is for
everyone and aim to increase access to training, diversify the community of trainers, and decrease
financial barriers in the Pilates community by providing full scholarships to
students from BIPOC Communities.

What is the Certification Program?

Our Pilates Instructor Certification takes place in both in our Los Angeles
studios (Santa Monica & Westwood) or our Bay Area studios (Marin & Berkeley). This is a
comprehensive program where you will become fully certified in Mat,
Reformer, Cadillac/Tower work, Chair, learn Functional Anatomy and how
to incorporate props into your repertoire. We have created custom
workbooks with Classical Pilates moves and tips for Mighty style.

The program is designed around participants’ personal / work schedules
and to maximize studio time with Trainers. The program is over 8 full
weekends. We know you are busy, so elements like anatomy, and some
observation or lectures can be done online, at your own pace.

What does the recipient of the scholarship receive?

Mighty will cover all of the costs of the Certification training and books, approximately $5,000. Recipient will receive 10 free private sessions and a free 40 pack of machine classes. The only fee with chosen scholars will pay is the online Anatomy Pilates Course to an outside company of $295.
